چکیده

The Digital Imaging and Remote Sensing Image Generation (DIRSIG) model enables a user to generate synthetic scenes. With this package these scenes can span anywhere between 0.3-20 microns and encompass an array of spatial and spectral phenomena. One project facilitated by DIRSIG is mega-scene. In the megascene project projection of aerial imagery is used as a texture map. After scene rendering some areas are found to hold discontinuities along the ground due to these texture map projections. I propose to remove occlusions from rendered scenes. By applying Harrison’s “Non-Hierarchical Procedure for Re-Synthesis of complex structures” entropy driven algorithm, missing regions are seamlessly replaced into the image surround guided by each pixels entropy constraints. The algorithm preserves scene continuity and accurate texture variability in each re-synthesized scene. Extraction of Watermarks from Linearly Distorted Images

Spaces of Spectral Distributions and Their Natural Geometry

It is well-known that the knowledge of the natural geometry of a problem is often crucial in finding solutions. Problems involving functions on a circle are, for example, often solved using the theory of Fourier series. This is the mathematical explanation of the enormous success of the DFT, FFT and DCT-based methods. Another example is the relation between scaling properties and wavelet theory...

Color and spectral analysis of daylight in southern Europe.

We have analyzed the colorimetric and spectral characteristics of 2600 daylight spectra (global spectral irradiances on a horizontal surface) measured for all sky states during a 2-year period at Granada, Spain. We describe in detail the chromaticity coordinates, correlated color temperatures (CCT), luminous efficacies, and relative UV and IR contents of Granada daylight. The chromaticity coord...

Spectroscopy, Structural, and Optical Investigations of NiFe2O4 Ferrite

Ni ferrite crystalline material is synthesized using a sol-gel method at two different temperatures. The vibrational and stretching modes, crystalline phase, size distribution and morphology of the products are investigated via Raman back-scattering and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, XRD and FESEM, respectively. Vibrational modes of spinel ferrite are observed at Raman and FTIR...

Quantum Chemical Modeling of 2-(Cyclohexylamino)-2-oxo-1-(quinolin-4-yl)ethyl 4-Chlorobenzoate: Molecular Structure, Spectroscopic (FT-IR, NMR, UV) Investigations, FMO, MEP and NBO Analysis Based on HF and DFT Calculations

In the present work, the quantum theoretical calculations of the molecular structure of the compound 2-(Cyclohexylamino)-2-oxo-1-(quinolin-4-yl)ethyl 4-Chlorobenzoate have been predicted using Density Functional Theory (DFT) in the gas phase. The geometry of the title structure was optimized by B3LYP/6-31+G* and HF/6-31+G* levels of theory. The theoretical 1H and 13C NMR chemical shift values o...

Performance evaluation of dimensionality reduction techniques for multispectral images

We consider several collections of multispectral color signals and describe how linear and nonlinear methods can be used to investigate their internal structure. We use databases consisting of blackbody radiators, approximated and measured daylight spectra, multispectral images of indoor and outdoor scenes under different illumination conditions, and numerically computed color signals. We apply...
